AeroVironment booked $47.1 million in contracts during the past two months to help the U.S. Army sustain small hand-launched unmanned aircraft systems.
The contracts cover sustainment work on RQ-11B Raven and RQ-20A Puma drones the company built for the military service, AeroVironment said Monday.
The Army uses the Raven to support low-altitude intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.
AeroVironment designed the Puma for maritime and ground-based military operations as well as for mining, energy and agricultural activities.
