PricewaterhouseCoopers and Tanium have agreed to combine their platforms through an alliance in an effort to help companies and government agencies protect their computer networks from insider threats and potential cyber attacks.
PwC will integrate Tanium Accelerator tools and software platform intended for systems and endpoint management with its cybersecurity practice, which consists of consulting teams that work to perform intelligence and incident response functions, Tanium said Wednesday.
The combination of consulting services from PwC and Tanium’s platforms will work to provide threat intelligence, data privacy evaluation, incident response and integration services for commercial and government clients.
“Cybersecurity remains one of the leading concerns for today’s CEOs given the risk to their businesses from the increasing prevalence of cyber and insider threats,†said Kris McConkey, cybersecurity partner at PwC.
