Michele Stern, formerly vice president of global business partner sales at IBM, has been appointed as VP of the company’s global business partners for North America, Channelnomics reported Wednesday.
Scharon Harding writes Stern succeeds Tami Duncan, who held the role since February 2014, and reports to Marc Dupaquier, general manager of IBM global business partners.
She will also lead IBM’s North America One Channel team and partner ecosystem, according to the report.
Dupaquier said Stern would work to develop opportunities in emerging channel trends, Channelnomics reports.
“I believe Michele is an excellent choice for the continued success of IBM and the channel as we continue to accelerate the pace for current and future IBM business partners to transform and capitalize on new market opportunities based on cloud, analytics, mobile, social and security,” Dupaquier added.
