Deirdre Evens Joins Iron Mountain as Chief HR Officer; William Meaney Comments

Deirdre Evens, formerly executive vice president of human resources at Clean Harbors, has moved into a new role as chief people officer at Iron Mountain Inc.

Evens will be responsible for Iron Mountain’s global human resources, operations and strategy, and report to President and CEO William Meaney, Iron Mountain said Tuesday.

“As someone who has led a business unit and had responsibility for sales and marketing organizations, Deirdre understands how critical culture and talent are to driving growth and innovation,” said Meaney.

She most recently led the recruitment, benefits and employee development efforts of Clean Harbors for the firm’s 13,000 employees worldwide.

Prior to joining Clean Harbors in 2007, Evens served as senior VP of member insight for BJ’s Wholesale.

Evens previously held various roles at Polaroid such as plant manager, director of manufacturing operations, VP and general manager of the imaging division and SVP of worldwide marketing and strategy.
