Raytheon|Websense and Cylance have partnered to consolidate both companies’ security offerings in an effort to help clients view files that move through their networks.
Raytheon|Websense combines its SureView threat protection service with Cylance’s Infinity Engine malware detection technology engine under the partnership, Cylance said Wednesday.
“The combination of SureView threat protection and Cylance’s next-generation malware protection engine reduces attack dwell time — the time from breach to containment,” said Joshua Douglas, Raytheon|Websense chief technology officer.
“This, in turn, minimizes business disruption and protects critical business assets,†added Douglas.
SureView works to detect unknown attacks through Raytheon|Websense’s technology and Cylance’s machine learning-based technology.
