CACI Awarded Army Counter-IED Services Task Order; Ken Asbury Comments

CACI International has received a task order from the U.S. Army to assist the service branch in efforts to combat improvised explosive devices.

The company will perform rapid response technical forensics and exploitation services under the contract, CACI said Monday.

“With this award to continue our support for the Army’s technical forensics and exploitation mission, we have the opportunity to advance technology whenever the military needs it, which will help protect American soldiers wherever they serve,” said Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO.

The Army awarded the multi-year task order under the Rapid Response Third Generation contract vehicle.

CACI works with the Army’s Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate to study and develop intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, electronic warfare and cyber technologies for U.S. warfighters.
