cybersecurityThreatQuotient has entered into the cybersecurity market with the release of its ThreatQ threat intelligence platform to help companies make informed decisions on security based on shared cyber threat data.

“Enterprises are currently lacking the ability to effectively correlate and operationalize the massive volume of threat intelligence data that is readily available,” Wayne Chiang, CEO and co-founder of ThreatQuotient, said in a statement Tuesday.

The company said ThreatQ works to streamline threat intelligence from various security vendors and intelligence providers and generate contextual information to boost threat detection.

According to ThreatQuotient, the on-premise offering automates the processing and analysis of threat intelligence and supports efforts to map identified cyber adversaries.
