Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies has been awarded a potential five-year, $97 million contract to provide support for NASA’s science programs and projects.
The company will work to develop instruments and software, collect data, analyze scientific results, develop models and present scientific data, NASA said Friday.
SGT will perform work at the agency’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt beginning in Aug. 1 under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task order.
The contract supports NASA’s various programs such as the Messenger, Lunar and Mars reconnaissance orbiters, Maven, IceSat2 and Space Geodesy Project.
