Rolls-Royce to Engineer, Repair Engine Parts for US Military Fleets; Paul Craig Comments

Rolls-Royce has been awarded $224 million in contracts toÂ develop and modify several types ofÂ engine parts the Defense Department supplies to U.S. military fleets and other air forces worldwide.

The company will perform logistics support, engineering, repairs and field services for the AE 2100, Adour and T56 engines, Rolls-Royce said Monday.

â€œWe continue to grow our services business as we focus on meeting our customersâ€™ needs and keeping their aircraft mission ready,â€ said Paul Craig, Rolls-Royce’s executive vice president for services.
