Raytheon has received five James S. Cogswell awards for the industrial security program being implemented at various facilities of the company.
The award is based on how a company maintains security at its facility in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program and sets security standards for other cleared facilities, Raytheon said Thursday.
“Safeguarding our customers’ information is one of our top priorities,†said Dan Schlehr, Raytheon vice president of global security services.
Raytheon facilities that received the award are the Tucson, Arizona-based missile systems, Rancho Cucamonga, California-based Rancho Innovations, Javelin Joint Venture, Washington, D.C.-based customer integration center and the Eglin AFB, Florida-based field office.
The Defense Security Service presented the honor to Raytheon during a ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada.
