Cloud securityThe U.S. Justice Department is seeking information on small businesses that can perform a data center colocation of security server racks for the agency’s Amazon Web Services-built cloud platform.

DOJ said in a FedBizOpps notice published Thursday it prefers a colocation facility that is located near a FedRAMP-certified AWS GovCloud site in the Seattle metropolitan area.

The contractor would provide the space, power and Internet connectivity needed for hosting of DOJ’s Hybrid Cloud Network Security Stack.

The agency also expects the provider to help troubleshoot technical issues related to the network protection and web security stack as well as the physical infrastructure.
