PAE CEO John Heller told the Washington Business Journal in an interview published Tuesday that the company is pursuing a more “aggressive” expansion strategy that focuses on organic, as well as inorganic, growth.
Jill Aitoro writes PAE reported $1.8 billion in revenue for its fiscal 2014 year and the company’s income is projected to reach $2 billion with the firm’s acquisition of A-T Solutions.
Heller said to Aitoro the deal is intended to grow the Arlington, Virginia-based contractor’s customer base in the national security market.
“From a strategy perspective, our goal has been to not change what we do but expand who we do it for,” he was quoted as saying.
Heller noted his company focuses on supporting U.S.’ foreign policies in partnership with the departments of State and Defense.
