The General Services Administration‘s 18F digital services group is scheduled to issue a request for quotation for a new blanket purchase agreement the agency will use to acquire agile software development services.
GSA will include this BPA contract in the agency’s Schedule 70 information technology procurement vehicle, three GSA officials said in a blog post published Wednesday.
The program will have an unrestricted full and open track and two small business set-aside pools with one for design and another for development.
18F will require vendors to send a working prototype based on a public dataset and post their offerings into the organization’s publicly-available Github repository, the agency officials said.
