The Department of Homeland Security has unveiled a new set of contract extensions to Computer Sciences Corp. and HP Enterprise Services for data center services as DHS transitions to an enterprise computing services framework.
Both extensions fall under agency’s Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions contract vehicle.
DHS will award the task order for data center 1 to CSC in June for a base period of six months and up to four one-year options.
HP Enterprise Services received its extension May 12 for services at data center 2 for a base period of one year and up to four one-year options.
DHS expects its ECS transition to take place over up to two years after the department completes proofs of concept, pilot and prototype acquisitions.
