Concurrent Technologies Corp. has been awarded three contracts to provide assistance to certain programs of the U.S. Navy and the Defense Logistics Agency.
CTC said Friday it received a $2.2 million task order to help the Navy’s Bureau of Medicine and Surgery conduct industrial hygiene surveys and evaluate workplace hazard control measures.
“It is of utmost importance that Navy personnel are working in the safest and healthiest environment possible — and CTC will help to ensure that type of environment through this contract,” said President and CEO Ed Sheehan Jr.
The company also announced it secured a potential three-year, $2.2 million contract to perform sustainment and technical support work on a web-based database system that DLA uses to monitor obsolete military technologies.
Sheehan noted that CTC has helped maintain the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources Shared Data Warehouse platform since 1997.
The U.S. Navy also awarded the company a $5.9 million cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order to integrate airborne mine countermeasures into the military service’s Carriage, Stream, Tow & Recovery System.
Under the contract, CTC will also continue to provide engineering and technical services for the CSTRS infrastructure, which is designed to facilitate MH-60S helicopters’ mine-hunting activity.
