Carahsoft Technology has joined the channel partner program of Skyport Systems to deliver the latter’s SkySecure offering to agencies as part of efforts to protect government information technology systems and applications.
Michael Shrader, vice president for intelligence and innovative solutions at Carahsoft, said Monday that the partnership targets front-line defense at government agencies.
Skyport said SkySecure works to secure customer and personal information, intellectual property, credentials and other “high-value” assets through compartmentalization and the use of a whitelist access policy.
It also has functions for application-specific protections, audit logs and system provenance, among others.
Carahsoft will offer SkySecure through the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contract, which was awarded by NASA in March.
