Carahsoft Technology has launched the cloud-hosted Defense Connect Online II tool, which builds on the company’s DCO offering for military collaboration and training activities.
“DCO II can be used by anyone associated with the [Defense Department] who wishes to continue using DCO Connect for their collaboration needs,” Mark Mills, DCO II program manager and vice president at Carahsoft, said in a statement released Thursday.
The company noted that DCO II includes additional functions for telephony and Microsoft Outlook integration, PKI/CAC authentication, cross-platform chat, cloud-based notes and surveys as well as the creation, delivery and monitoring of training.
DCO II, which is hosted in Amazon Web Services‘ GovCloud environment, works to support activities such as webinars, asynchronous on-demand courses, large-scale virtual conferences, mobile delivery of content and virtual office hours, Carahsoft said.
