Boeing has been awarded a $238 million contract with Corpus Christi Army Depot to modernize parts of the U.S. Army AH-64 Apache and CH-47 Chinook aircraft.
The Army will also have access to Boeing’s platform service and supply networks, Boeing said Friday.
The contract contains a one-year base period and four one-year options.
“Having employees at the depot working with Army maintenance personnel gives Boeing unique agility and flexibility in helping our customers meet their fast-paced mission requirements,†said Lisa Stuart, program manager and Boeing site lead at CCAD.
“From routine maintenance support to unscheduled repairs of battle-damaged aircraft, we both benefit from the partnership,†Stuart added.
