Black Box Corp. has received an eight-year, $103 million contract with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department for data network, telecommunications and shared airport tenant services at Miami International Airport and general aviation airports in the county.
The company said Monday the contract provides managed services for airport tenants and passengers.
Jeff Barton, vice president of sales for Black Box’s enterprise managed services unit, said the company will support MDAD’s efforts to boost customer satisfaction at the airports.
According to Black Box, it currently has an on-site team at MIA that provides IT service desk, technical engineering and system design services.
