Battelle has been awarded a three-year, $25 million contract to develop mobile laboratory platforms for the Defense Department.
The common analytical lab system will contain instruments designed to help service members and first responders identify and analyze chemical, biological and radiological hazards, Battelle said Monday.
Battelle will perform work at the company’s Ohio, Maryland and Missouri facilities.
Battelle will also configure the labs for field confirmation, theater validation and vehicle installation work.
