Vormetric and CloudHesive have formed an alliance to provide encryption-as-a-service offerings to joint customers in order to help organizations indentify attacks on data.
As a new member to Vormetric’s cloud partner program, CloudHesive implements Vormetric’s transparent encryption and cloud encryption gateway products for CloudHesive’s encryption offerings, Vormetric said Thursday.
“Vormetric is delighted to have CloudHesive as a partner, and to help them address their customer’s needs for security, risk reduction, data privacy and compliance,†said CJ Radford, vice president of cloud for Vormetric.
The transparent encryption technology uses data security manager key management appliances to protect data within an infrastructure at the file or volume level and at encryption enabled speeds.
Vormetric designed the cloud encryption gateway to help clients protect data stored in Amazon Web Services Simple Storage Service and Box ecosystems by encrypting data before it leaves enterprise environments.
