Thales and Hewlett-Packard have agreed to integrate their voice and data services in an effort to help fulfill the communications requirements of emergency service clients.
The two companies will jointly offer a package of communications services based on the Long Term Evolution technology and an integrated research and development service, Thales said Thursday.
Thales and HP intend to help emergency service providers implement decisions related to public safety, first responder safety and data access via mobile devices.
HP will work to deliver cloud-based information technology services to government customers and Thales will provide LTE-based public safety communications and integrated commercial mobile networks.
