A Verizon cloud computing suite has been added to two contract vehicles that U.S. government agencies use to procure telecommunication products and services.
Verizon said Wednesday its Enterprise Cloud: Federal Edition offering can now be purchased by agencies through the General Services Administration‘s Networx Universal and Enterprise program and the Washington Interagency Telecommunications System 3 acquisition vehicle.
“Networx and WITS 3 are among our most widely used federal contracts and the addition of our cloud platform will help streamline the purchasing process,” said Michael Maiorana, senior vice president of public sector markets at Verizon’s enterprise solutions business.
Verizon Enterprise Solutions also offers the technology via the company’s GSA IT Schedule 70 contract and blanket purchase agreements with the departments of Agriculture and Interior.
The cloud offering is certified under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
