MapR Technologies has won a Cisco Partner Summit Global award in recognition of its corporate practices, sales strategies and business outcome-driven platforms.
The company received the 2015 Solution Innovation Partner of the Year at Cisco’s partner conference held from April 27-30 in Montreal, MapR said Tuesday.
“This award is a testament to the significant momentum we are seeing in the marketplace for our combined solutions, and the desire of customers to move Hadoop into real-time, operational workloads using MapR,â€Â said Steve Fitz, senior vice president of worldwide field operations at MapR.
MapR distributes software applications derived from Apache Hadoop, an open-source software framework meant for big data deployments.
