The Greater Johnstown/Cambria County Chamber of Commerce in Pennsylvania will hold the 25th Annual Showcase for Commerce from May 27 to 29 to exhibit new defense technologies and discuss current government contracting trends.
Attendees will have an opportunity to connect with government officials and acquisition leaders, defense contractors and subcontractors, as well as potential business partners, the chamber said in its website.
This year’s event includes participation from Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.), Rep. Keith Rothfus (R-Pa.) and congressional sponsor Sen. Bob Casey Jr. (D-Pa.).
Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) — who is on the Armed Services, Foreign Relations and Budget committees — is the featured speaker for the John P. Murtha Breakfast.
Concurrent Technologies Corp. President and CEO Ed Sheehan Jr. will act as chairman for the event.
