Serco will continue to provide air navigation services for the Baghdad International Airport under a one-year contract extension with the Iraq Civil Aviation Authority.
The company will also help train air traffic controllers at the airport through 2016, Serco said Monday.
David Greer, CEO of Serco Middle East, said the extension continues the company’s efforts to provide outsourced aviation services to government clients in the region.
Serco won the initial contract with the aviation agency in 2011.
