Informatica Corp. has integrated data for Connecticut’s health insurance marketplace, which the state established to fulfill Affordable Care Act requirements.
Access Health CT began operations in September 2013 and has enrolled more than 282,000 Connecticut residents since, Informatica said Wednesday.
Amit Walia, senior vice president and general manager of data integration and security at Informatica, said the health exchange was developed to help the state serve its residents with a “secure data integration infrastructure.â€
Access Health CT works to consolidate multiformat data across internal and external entities and a streamlined view of health insurance plans through the use of Informatica’s PowerCenter and advanced data transformation software.
The health exchange is also designed to minimize errors, prevent fraud and comply with data governance and reporting rules.
