Devon Engel currently serves as vice president and general counsel of General Dynamics‘ mission systems business, where he heads government contracting and other legal functions.
He joined the company in 2001 following its acquisition of Motorola‘s integrated information systems group, which is now part of General Dynamics Mission Systems.
Engel began his work on government contract law at Washington-based Crowell & Moring.
He also served as a research assistant at the George Washington University Law School, where he was a member of the George Washington Law Review and graduated with honors.
He has provided pro bono legal services on adoption as a practicing attorney in Washington.
