Cloudera has been chosen by CounterTack to equip the latter’s Sentinel endpoint big data technology with its data hub infrastructure that works to protect servers, workstations, laptops and other endpoints across corporate networks from malicious malware and potential cyber attacks.
The Apache Hadoop-based Cloudera Enterprise platform seeks to support more than 100,000 endpoint deployments and facilitate real-time analysis of data across various computing environments to reduce the time cyber attackers dwell in enterprise networks from 240 days to minutes, Cloudera said Tuesday.
“As the volume and sophistication of endpoint attacks are expanding exponentially it is critical for organizations to implement a secure endpoint threat detection and response platform that is combined with reliable advanced analytics,†said Eddie Garcia, chief security architect at Cloudera.
