CGI and the Michigan Municipal Services Authority are offering the CGI Advantage360 software-as-a-service enterprise resource planning technology to local government entities there as part of the state’s MiDEAL initiative.
The company said Thursday the initiative enables Michigan localities to procure the technology under the state’s contract with CGI.
According to CGI, the city of Grand Rapids and Kent County have already signed five-year contracts worth $6.5 million and $6 million, respectively, to deploy CGI Advantage360.
“We welcome these Michigan localities to our user community,” said Daniel Keene, senior vice president of CGI’s Advantage program.
“Our partnership allows the MMSA to provide a full suite of built-for-government tools ‘out of the box’ to any local government in Michigan,” noted MMSA CEO Robert Bruner.
CGI said the cloud-based CGI Advantage360 works to help organizations manage financial, budget, procurement and human resource operations.
