BAE Systems has demonstrated a precision guidance kit built for standard 155-millimeter artillery shell.
The Rokar Silver Bullet precision guidance kit went through a live fire test in Israel as part of a series of demonstrations with clients, BAEs said Monday.
The kits hit the target within 10.9 yards during those tests, according to the company.
Nir Lavi, general manager of BAE Systems Rokar, said the Silver Bullet system is intended to help military commanders operate in modern battlefields.
The Silver Bullet has an in-flight correction capability designed to hit the target upon the first fire.
