AECOM will prepare documentation on U.S. Navy and Marine Corps facilities planning and environmental activities in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia under a $45 million architect-engineering contract.
The Defense Department said Friday AECOM’s technical services arm will support the Naval Facilities Engineering Command‘s design projects in the EURAFSWA area of responsibility through May 2020.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers infrastructure such as administration buildings, recreational facilities, child development centers, Navy lodges, base housing, water treatment facilities and operational facilities.
AECOM will perform work at locations that include Bahrain, Greece, Italy and Spain.
The obligated amount of $10,000 is from the Navy’s fiscal 2015 operation and maintenance funds, DoD said.
