TechFlow has awarded a subcontract to Intellicheck Mobilisa for the design, prototyping, deployment and commercialization of a big data analytics tool that the U.S. Navy will use to study the energy usage of networked devices.
Intellicheck said Tuesday the analytics system will work to capture energy use data for analysis, predict future usage and generate insights into reducing energy consumption using a secure common sensor interface.
TechFlow CEO Larry Trammell said the contract aims to facilitate energy cost savings at Navy installations and bring the resulting technology to the commercial marketplace.
Intellicheck added that the contract also works to extend its identification and authorization offerings into data analytics applications for the financial services, retail and law enforcement sectors.
“Among a host of other benefits derived from the analyzed data, it will inform decisions to develop strategies and tactics to grow profitability in the retail and financial sectors,” said Intellicheck CEO Bill Roof.
“For law enforcement agencies, it will present new opportunities to enhance safety and effectiveness.”
