EMC‘s security division RSA has unveiled additional cloud security, network visibility and data privacy functions for its RSA Security Analytics offering, which will be available under throughput-based pricing and flexible packaging options.
EMC said Tuesday the product works to provide security incident and event management capabilities beyond logs to detect threat signals using a combination of logs and data from endpoints, packets and the cloud and contextually analyze the attack.
“As the threat landscape grows in complexity and more advanced attacks emerge, organizations can no longer rely solely on a log-centric approach to security,” said Grant Geyer, senior vice president for products at RSA.
According to EMC, the new RSA Security Analytics release also operates with RSA Web Threat Detection to cover web and mobile applications in the protection against both cyber attacks and fraudulent user activity.
