General Dynamics plans to continue work its core cyber portfolio for government amid the pending sale of its Fidelis Cybersecurity Solutions unit, a General Dynamics executive has told Reuters.
“[We]Â are continuing to invest resources in technology development to ensure we deliver resilient, relevant and innovative solutions that support mission needs,” Nadia Short, vice president and general manager of General Dynamics’ cyber business, said to Reuters.
Andrea Shalal and Sweta Singh write that the Fidelis sale to Marlin Equity Partners, which is scheduled to close within the quarter, was intended to scale down General Dynamic’s noncore commercial business.
