Inmarsat Adds IEC Telecom as Global Distribution Partner; Greg Ewert, Erwan Emilian Comment

Inmarsat has added IEC Telecom Group to the network of global distribution partners for the Inmarsat L-band portfolio.

IEC will serve as a reseller of Inmarsat’s BGAN, IsatHub and IsatPhone products, Inmarsat said Tuesday.

“We are delighted to welcome IEC as an Inmarsat distribution partner,” said Greg Ewert, president of Inmarsat’s enterprise segment.

IEC has a presence in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa and Central and South East Asia regions, Inmarsat says.

“The interconnect with Inmarsat allows all our tier 1 resellers, as well as our global accounts, to be directly linked to Inmarsat’s global network,” added Erwan Emilian, IEC Telecom’s CEO.
