Rachel Decker is marketing director for the U.S. public sector at Hewlett Packard‘s enterprise services business and oversees the unit’s content strategy, communications and marketing campaigns in the federal, state and local markets.
She served as senior manager of the company’s global public affairs communications organization before she took her current role in October 2011.
Prior to HP, she managed media relations, marketing and business development initiatives at BAE Systems and held the role of advanced technology communications manager at United Technologies Corp. subsidiary Pratt & Whitney.
Decker also served as a public affairs officer within the Defense Department and an operations program coordinator for the State Department.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in social anthropology from George Mason University and a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
