DynCorp International has been awarded a potential five-year, $126.2 million contract from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection to help operate and maintain the agency’s aerial vehicles for wildfire-fighting missions.
CAL FIRE asked the company to continue providing full flight services for the agency’s fixed-wing firefighting planes, DynCorp said Wednesday.
The company will also support depot-level maintenance of UH-1H transport helicopters, OV-10A observation aircraft and S-2T tankers for the agency.
The contract has two base years and three option years and work will occur at McClellan Park in California.
