DB Networks has graduated from Northrop Grumman and bwtech@UMBC’s joint Cync incubator program for startup businesses.
Northrop said Thursday that the continuous monitoring service provider is the fifth cyber startup to complete the Cync program.
Northrop Grumman and bwtech@UMBC formed the program with the goal of helping cyber, data sciences, big data and secure mobility startups to commercialize their technologies for the federal marketplace.
“The Cync program is directly responding to a national need to cultivate innovation from all corners and speed the most promising ideas to the federal marketplace,” said Chris Valentino, Cync program lead and director of strategy within the cyber division of Northrop Grumman information systems.
OptioLabs, developer of security products for the mobile enterprise and embedded systems, is the newest cyber startup to join Cync in April.
