A Computer Sciences Corp. and AT&T partnership has been awarded a potential seven-year contract to provide information technology network and communication services to Swedish power company Vattenfall.
The team will work to build a workplace IT environment for approximately 30,000 end users at Vatenfall’s facilities worldwide, CSC said Tuesday.
“Sweden is a key market for CSC, and our agreement with Vattenfall is an important step in executing our strategy to bring standardized next-generation IT offerings to the Nordics market with our global business alliance partners,” said John Walsh III, vice president and general manager for CSC operations in the Nordic and Baltic region.
Steve Caniano, vice president of AT&T’s mobile and business solutions unit, said the company aims to help Vatenfall employees to communicate anywhere with AT&T technology.
CSC will also provide its MyWorkStyle platform with the goal of helping the Swedish utility manage personal computers across the devices’ entire lifecycle.
