Tony Moraco, CEO of Science Applications International Corp., will discuss his work in managing the company’s transition following the SAIC-Leidos split in 2013 during the Washington Business Journal’s first Power Breakfast, the publication reported Tuesday.
Jill Aitoro writes that Moraco will be the first featured guest of the roundtable event amid the rise of acquisition and divestiture activities in the government contracting market.
SAIC itself is planning to acquire intelligence community contractor Scitor Corp. for $790 million in May.
Moraco led SAIC as it became a standalone, publicly traded company with steady revenue and share price performance, the report said.
He is also an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2015.
The first Power Breakfast will be held on April 6 at The Ritz-Carlton in McLean, Virginia.
