The Defense Commissary Agency has partnered with an NCR Corp. subsidiary to build a new technology platform for the agency to manage distribution of groceries for U.S. military personnel, veterans and their families.
NCR Government Systems will deliver multiple software products for DeCA’s enterprise business system modernization initiative, NCR said Wednesday.
“From back-end supply chain software to consumer-facing touchpoints, NCR software will help DeCA improve their operations so that they can continue to deliver this vital benefit to military personnel worldwide,” said Stan Ratcliffe, president of NCR Government Systems.
The DeCA enterprise infrastructure will be designed to employ the company’s Wholesale Distribution, Connected Payments, Customer & Loyalty, Power Inventory, Vendor Portal and Retalix Store & Sales Channel Suite platforms.
