Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) will engineer and configure the Aegis fleet for the U.S. Navy and overseas customers through the foreign military sale program under a potential $26,212,923 contract.
The company will provide engineering analysis, enterprise configuration management, training systems, systems engineering and information assurance services for the weapon system, the Defense Department said Friday.
The sole-source contract is a combined purchase from the U.S., Australia, Japan, Korea, Norway and Spain governments.
SAIC will perform work in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Japan, Australia, Korea, Norway and Spain through May 2015.
