Marianne Brown, formerly chief operating officer of SunGard Financial Systems, has been elected to the board of directors of Northrop Grumman.
She joined SunGard, a financial software and information technology services provider, in February 2014 after her role as CEO and president of Omgeo, Northrop said Thursday.
Wes Bush, chairman, CEO and president of Northrop, said Brown’s track record in financial services and technology industries will contribute to how Northrop performs for its shareholders, customers and employees.
Brown served as CEO of the Securities Industry Automation Corp. before he joined Omgeo.
She began her career with Automatic Data Processing and later served as general manager of ADP’s brokerage processing services business, which was spun off into Broadridge Financial Solutions.
