Lockheed Martin will purchase commercial three-dimensional printers from Vader Systems worth up to $400,000 each, Buffalo Business First reported Tuesday.
Dan Miner writes Lockheed will also give feedback on the 3-D printer’s performance as a development customer of Vader Systems.
Scott Vader, president of Vader Systems, told the publication the company intends to get its technology started with a company such as Lockheed, which he says has “huge demand and is technically aggressive.â€
Vader Systems is also in talks with another development customer, according to the report.
The startup business is seeking $600,000 in seed funding from the Buffalo investment community, Miner reports.
