Tom Zara serves as global practice lead of corporate citizenship at Interbrand from January 1993 to present, with responsibility in creating and managing brand value.
Zara is also the chairman of the Interbrand Inspired Foundation and the Interbrand’s global energy practice lead.
He has helped the company build a roster of clients over the past 14 years that includes BlueCross BlueShield Association, New York Life, General Motors, Motorola, USAA, Standard & Poor’s, Environmental Protection Agency, Microsoft, Thomson Reuters and John Deere.
The 20-plus-year brand consulting veteran most recently served as strategic lead for an engagement with the Conservation Lands Foundation.
Zara previously served as senior vice president of Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising between 1976 and 1986.
He began his career with General Mills, where he worked for eight years.
