The U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems will continue to help the U.S. Air Force manage the service life cycle of aircraft, vehicles, machines and other systems and platforms under a three-year contract worth up to $37 million.

BAE Systems Inc. said Wednesday it will provide its Web-enabled Advanced Component Obsolescence Management tool to predict the potential obsolescence of parts and identify where replacements can be procured.

DeEtte Gray, president of BAE Systems Inc.’s intelligence and security sector and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2015, noted that AVCOM works to support both mission readiness and life-cycle planning by providing advanced information and resolution on obsolescence issues.

The new contract continues BAE’s five-year obsolescence management support for the Air Force’s Strategic Alternative Sourcing Program Office.

It will perform contract work at sites in Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma and Utah.
