Jeffrey Katz, formerly chief executive officer of Wize Commerce, has been elected to the board of directors at CA Technologies and will serve on the audit committee and compliance and risk committee.
“The Board will greatly benefit from Jeff’s extensive technology and business experience managing high-performance organizations as well as his considerable operational expertise,” Art Weinbach, CA’s chairman, said Thursday.
“Jeff’s appointment is also indicative of the Board’s ongoing assessment of its collective skills, experience and expertise.”
CA said the board’s membership is now at 12 directors with Katz’s appointment.
Katz has previously held leadership positions at LeapFrog Enterprises, Swissair and Orbitz Worldwide, where he was the founding chairman.
He has also served on the boards of Northwest Airlines, Digital River and R.R. Donnelley & Sons.
