Science Applications International Corp. has received a potential three-year, $62 million task order to provide technical and engineering services to the U.S. Navy‘s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command.
SAIC said Monday it will provide support for SPAWAR’s office of chief engineer, program executive office for C4I systems, fleet readiness directorate and C4ISR programs.
“This follow-on task order allows us to continue to support the vision and mission of SPAWAR 5.0, particularly with key initiatives such as cybersecurity and cloud technology,” said Tom Watson, senior vice president and general manager for SAIC’s Navy and Marine Corps customer group.
Work covers mission engineering analysis, systems architecture and engineering, interoperability assessment, configuration and technology management.
SPAWAR awarded the order to SAIC through the Navy’s SeaPort-e contract vehicle and the company will perform work in San Diego, South Carolina, Washington D.C. and Virginia.
