ICF International has agreeed to sponsor WTS International‘s programs and operations around the world for the advancement of women in the fields of transportation and infrastructure.
“We see this relationship with WTS as a logical and valuable extension of our mutual efforts to attract and retain the brightest and best women for our firm and for the transportation industry,” Kristen Klovsky, an ICF vice president, said Thursday.
WTS is a Washington-based international association founded in 1977 that provides networking opportunities and professional programs to support women who have established careers in the transportation industry.
“This new relationship will impact our programming across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom over the next year,” said Marcia Ferranto, president and chief executive of WTS.
She added that the organization plans to leverage partnerships in its move to expand globally.
